Kris Tyte

Kris Tyte has a lifelong interest in philosophy, humanism, and responsible technology use. He is a technologist, educator, and veteran. With decades of global experience in public interest initiatives, education, and software development, he adds nuance, interest, and clarity to every discussion.

Positively Pedestrian cohost Kris Tyte combines humor, practical knowledge, and a gift for making difficult concepts interesting and approachable. Whether discussing new technologies, societal changes, or broad future issues, he challenges listeners to exercise critical thinking, be genuine in their reflections, and maintain a sense of humanity. The best conversations, he thinks, take place in the space between a daring idea and a good cup of coffee.

Sean Snodgrass

Veteran IT pro with a knack for turning deep tech into fun conversation. By day, he wrangles networks and tames firewalls; by morning, he co-hosts Positively Pedestrian, where walks spark wide-ranging chats on AI, ethics, science, and life’s oddities. Part technophile, part philosopher, Sean blends curiosity and humor, proving that great ideas often start with a simple pedestrian journey.

Corey Meyers

My name is Corey Meyer; I was born in Ohio and have been living in Charlotte area for about 10 years. I do IT consulting for a living. I am mainly interested in: Mindfulness and Meditation and am a follower of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Natual Rights and the history of the American government, including the Federalists and the founding of the Constitution, The no-surf movement and digital minimalism and how technology is affecting youth. I have been described as a skeptic, an enigma and a big-picture thinker. I believe a lot of problems in society stem from reactionism, lack of patience and reason and the loss of holistic thinking.

Sam Stanton

Sam Stanton is a UNCC computer science grad with the kind of brain that could debug the Matrix — but chose instead to bring that brilliance to our podcast. Equal parts logic and creativity, Sam offers sharp wit, fresh insights, and a natural curiosity that makes every convo pop.

When they’re not talking tech or untangling code, Sam is wielding lasers and carving wood — literally. As an artist and business owner, they run a custom engraving shop where each piece is a mix of precision and personality.

And beyond the mic and workshop? Sam’s diving into animation, crafting a universe full of motion and mischief. Their signature style? Unapologetic, rebellious, and delightfully irreverent. Middle finger art? That’s just Sam being Sam.
